Being Queer with One Foot in Brazil and One in America
On this week's episode of Queering the Air we are joined by the absolutely radiant, and my great friend, Izzy Rocha. Izzy is a queer Brazilian-American with a personality that never fails to light up a room. A dancer, model, former drag-king, Izzy is a natural born performer (just check out her TikTok). We discuss the 'right time to come out' (in regards to making sure you're safe), an extended family that doesn't accept queerness, and how Brazil's culture plays a part in this, to the utmost importance of therapy (and how to get started), Izzy shares her wealth of experience and knowledge.
